PENINGKATAN HASIL TERNAK SAPI MELALUI PEMANFAATAN BIOGAS KOTORAN SAPI MENUJU DUSUN MANDIRI ENERGI
Abstract
Biogas is a renewable energy source that is able to contribute the fuel demands. The raw materials of biogas energy sources are non-fossil material, generally is biomass containing organic material is available abundant in Indonesia, such as farm and agricultural resources. The purpose of this program is to create a service independent hamlet in enough food and energy, especially fuel for cooking needs by utilizing the cow feces to be processed into biogas. Waste generated from the biogas will be used to be used as organic fertilizer which will be beneficial for agriculture, resulting in a sustainable synergy between the village and engaged cattle farming and agriculture. Targets and outcomes that can improve the well-being and independence of villagers with the following details: hamlet realize energy independent by utilizing the cow feces to make biogas as a source of cooking fuel replaces LPG, as well as organic fertilizer for agricultural crops; increasing the quality and quantity of agricultural products citizens through the use of organic fertilizer from cow manure to fertilize crops; increasing the quality of contaminated soil from cow feces; creating a clean village environment, healthy and comfortable, and free from smell pollution.
