Abstract


Competition in the tight era of globalization creates demands for competence in all aspects of life that are very high. The ability to increase knowledge and skills is a determining factor for success in living in a rapidly developing world. The ability to use scientific knowledge of environmental problems and draw conclusions based on scientific evidence is called scientific literacy. In this study, the literacy attitude of prospective elementary school teachers is based on the Program for International Student Assessment (PISA).
